The Fish Footbridge, located in the center of Ljubljana, is designed in a contemporary style, with high aesthetic standards set due to its location in the strict city center.

The footbridge’s construction is based on an airtight box-shaped steel structure, which is particularly special due to its slender cross-section, allowing it to have a subtle and elegant appearance despite its load-bearing capacity. The project required careful coordination of functionality and visual elements, such as railings, handles, and drainage systems, which together form a refined and functional whole. Special emphasis was also placed on the installation of a vibration damper, which ensures comfortable and safe use of the footbridge.

One of the innovative solutions is the heating of the non-slip floorboards, which are integrated into the footbridge’s paving stones. This technology allows safe walking even in the winter months, as it prevents freezing and snow on the surface.

The steel structure of the footbridge was manufactured in one piece in our workshop, then transported to the center of Ljubljana, where it was assembled.
